The shoulder straps are fixed onto the back of the dress by buttons so the length of the dress may be adjusted as your daughter grows. The final look of this dress will vary according to your choice of fabric. The black and white dress that I made has more of a classic and clean look that is great for garden parties and the like, whereas the plaid dress is cuter, appropriate for wear during playtime or at the beach.
