According to a review of copper published by Kobert in 1895, copper has been used to treat acute chronic diarrhea, and epidemics like cholera. It is also said to be effective for eczema, tuberculosis, and syphilis thanks to various minerals within copper. And in 1966, John R.J.Sorenson proved that the silver-copper complex was effective in treatment. Copper complexes have since been used to treat patients with arthritis and other chronic degenerative diseases.
More recently, Professor Bill Keevil of Southampton University, UK, found that copper was effective in antibacterial and sterilizing action through a video of sterilization experiments with MERS and SARS using copper. Since bacteria do not move by themselves and are spread only by contact, the antibacterial properties of copper can eradicate infectious pathogens. According to Professor Bill, the corona virus is destroyed when it comes into contact with copper, so copper can help prevent the spread of the infection. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) recently conducted a comparative experiment on how well Covid-19 could survive on copper, plastic, and stainless steel. In the end the virus survived 72 hours in plastic, 48 hours in stainless steel, but died completely after 4 hours in copper.
The results clearly show that a copper-made mask would be a very effective against the virus.
